My wonderful sisters birthday was last week and I was M.I.A planning the decorations for her Surprise Birthday Party. I was inspired by the mugs I bought at Bethesda Resale Shop to throw a hot air balloon themed party of some kind and since I knew it would be super fun and colorful I went with that. There was not a lot of hot air balloon themed parties on the web(that I could find) but I did get some ideas from Here and Here. I only had a dessert table space to decorate but I had a great time doing it! :) Here's what I came up with. Hope you're inspired as well.

I could kick myself...my favorite part of the party was the fingerprint guest book that we had(It was Ruth's take home gift and I forgot to take a picture), it was this concept:
but with a hot air balloon basket at the bottom.
